Well, I see that this so-called nextguardian is funny, but you drawingblade are not in this at all, so how does this let us know about your sense of humor.

Wait a second, gnome?
cool i didn't know it was possible to program on Ubuntu/LinuxOffTopic:
The main argument of the people who think linux is not ready to be used by everyone say the user experience is too programmer centric (and i kinda agree, some things could have been made simpler but weren't because they preferred to let the user control a bit more) But hey, I'm a programmer, can't really complain about something lie that
Tangent aside and back to to point, yes, you can program under linux, actually, i'm kinda surprised that someone didn't instantly thought "oh, that OS for programmers" when they noticed it was linux. Anyway, since i was the lead programmer, (and the only active one for long periods of time, due to several reasons) and i'm a linux user, linux always had been the main platform for the game (during my time as lead). With a pretty much decent working windows port (maintained by other team members, thank you guys) and mac working pretty much as an afterthought, as we didn't have mac coders to maintain it properly.
Go Linux!!!
Are there going to be any playable demos?

Oh my!!! I love those sonic promo renders.

Man, gotta love the whole great minds thinking alike thing. I was just thinking of those old renders and trying to find them on my computer and stressing because they seemed to have vanished when I had to reinstall Windows, and BOOM, you put them up here. Muchas gracias!
Wanna know a secret about those renders? They were a lot harder to do than they should have been. Since I had about zero 3d skills when I joined up, when I was asked to render sonic in a dynamic pose for a promo, I had no clue what to do. I ended up posing the model by hand, with no rigging, transforming each limb individually into the pose I wanted. THEN, my clueless self couldn't figure out how to get the textures to show up on Sonic, so I rendered him in black and white and painted color onto him. I also had to do his eyes, mouth, glove detail, and shoe buckles all by hand. (thankfully, my Photoshop skills were marginally better than my 3d skills at the time)
It would be interesting to go back and try this again, to see how much I've improved...

That is the official Project-S logo in the lower right corner, actually. The sonic wireframe deal was done by Kstar, and the Project-S logo and...I guess we'll call it 'intro screen' were done by MiX.
My next idea was going to be the 'Senntient Scream', used in proposed YouTube trailers. These were never created, however, and didn't get past the idea phase.

I don't mean to rush, but it's been a little while, is there going to be an update soon? D:

I can't imagine there is much else to be released. Let's see, the music has been released... um... Yeah, that's it, nothing left to be released.

Neat! I'm not a big fan of the texturing style, but they're still nice. Shame the spring wasn't textured, but I like the model for it; I always have trouble with curved "tubular" objects myself, coils included. I might just have to steal it sometime =P
The flowers are certainly nice little details for the rocks, I like them.

don't even joke about that
I WENT THAR
I don't have any actual plans to use any of the assets from this game (the style of Sonic X-Treme doesn't exactly match with my own, sonic ambience), so don't get the wrong idea, allthoough there's only so much you can expect from people when you release every bit of any specific resource to the public. Unless, of course, you were joking, in which case, disregard :D
But if any of the game's programming is released - or heck, even the blend files themselves - there's probably a few things I wouldn't be able to resist. The workings of the 2.5D system is up there.

Thank you guys!
I was finally able to make my own 3D Palmtree with those textures.
Low Poly: Left.
High Poly: Right.
