lol, actually (your not going to belive this) thats my last name! (and its pronunced TOM NOT THOM! pronunced with out the "th" sound) also i go by year i made the drawing. its actually 2011 just unique to me because its 11' not `11. just FYI.

thanks! you don't know how may people call me by my last name as thom with the "th". yeah me neither. i'm at a stoping block right now. i have a few ideas for drawings i would love to do on my own but lack the skill to do so. like i said before, i'm just good at free handing stuff. but don't worry i'll get better and learn more. i haven't felt so passionate about drawing in a long time! you and omega and every one else whos comented realy have inspired me to keep on doing this!

p.s. YAY!! FINAL EXAMS ARE OVER!! *victory dance* with a new semester starting i can fianally have more time to draw stuff!! 8D

You really need a new camera XD Or a scanner. The 2009 ones are red XD The first 2010 one was shiny, and the second was really blurry, and the third looks like you shook the camera when you took the photo. Otherwise those look good, I quite like the pose in the third one big_smile1

Ibbod0's right. i'm cheap (or poor. which ever comes first) so on alot of my older drawings (which are horedous compared too todays stuff i posted) are only done in ball point pen. they arn't the best pens ever, i alread know that they give off a wierd shine so they don't look as good as i would see them right in front of me. so thanks mr, art expert! XD

I know, I was saying that not only did he need a new camera, he should have had a better lighting setup etc.
The camera he uses is grainy and low-res (Or he scaled the images down).

Still if you have a scanner please use that because it has really good quality compared to a camera ^_^

Well just take photo's unless you make one that is so awesome you want it in high quality. Unless its no hassle at all to use your uncle's scanner. It's just that the camera's quality doesn't do the awesome drawings justice ^_^

Even the mods like it, thats how good it is!

I told you the few things I find that look slightly off, I just noticed another: The tail looks a bit too long. And its too fat at the base. Otherwise nice job! I quite like the face. Although in my opinion this isn't your best, I'd say Amy and Shadow are your best.

i just hope that those arn't the only best! i'm having a "challenge" drawing my next pic (which is Tiara btw) and i just can't seem to get her head right. maybe i'm just tired or need to practice some more. i hope i can get the drawing out tomorow with out there being to many problems.

another perspective on where you can improve.. the lines are kind of shaky and sketchy. when you're going over the lines, think how you're going to go from point to point, and try to make the line with one smooth action.

yeah i'm getting sick ot the shaky pen look. i like to darken in the pencil so it will show up better on camra so i'll practise that. thanks for the info ^_^

Sure, nice clean lines are more "professional" but just look at like Ed, Edd, and Eddy or Squigglevision those both prove you can do quality animation and such without having "nice, clean, lines" haha.
